How to Access Your Security Cameras from Your Phone

ON YOUR PHONE

Download the DMSS app.

Open the app and follow the prompts until you get to the app’s main screen.

DO NOT make an account or attempt to log in.

Click the “+” sign in the top right corner.

Select “SN/Scan.”

Make sure your phone is connected to the same network as your video machine.

ON YOUR VIDEO MACHINE

On the main screen with the camera grid, right click and select “Main Menu.”

Type in your password.

On the Main Menu, select “Network” at the bottom of the screen.

In the bottom left corner, select “P2P.”

ON YOUR PHONE

Your phone’s camera should be active and asking you to scan a QR code.

You should see two QR codes on your video machine screen. Use your phone to scan the QR code on the right.

If your cameras are connected with coaxial cable, select “DVR/XVR.”  If your cameras are connected with CAT 5/6 cable, select “NVR.”

You should see a form to fill out on your phone screen. It will ask for SN, Device Name, Username, and Password.

Leave “SN” blank.

“Device Name” can be anything you want it to be.

“Username” is always “admin.”

Enter the Password you were given during installation. If you don’t remember the Password please call, text, or email us.

Click “Save” or “Done” in the top right corner.

Click “Completed” at the bottom.

Whenever you open the app, just click “Live” in the top left corner to see your cameras.
